 Mike and Pamela have been married for ten years and live in Penha. The couple has an 8-year-old son. Eric is his name.

Mike is a bus collector. Pamela is a salesperson, but has been unemployed for five months. Eric is studying at home because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Pamela is concerned about the pandemic, unemployment and also about expenses at home.

She wants to go back to school and take a technical course. Pamela wants to take the technical course in nursing.

Why do we tend to force others to see the world through our eyes?

• How to live with the other?

If culture defines a way of looking at the world, then everyone sees the world through their culture. In this way, behaviors, ideas and actions are evaluated as good or bad, correct and wrong, beautiful or ugly, useful or useless, pleasant or unpleasant, moral or immoral according to the culture of each one.Thus, we tend to consider the way of life expressed by our culture as the more “correct”.

  But what happens when, following this chain of ideas, one culture faces another?
